Well, I had never really noticed them jumping and my glass hood had cracked so rather than replacing it I had just left it off. Hadnt had an issue in 2 months. But after that happened yesterday I placed the two pieces on and butted them up together. I realized how lucky I was that I was home. In fact I had just gotten home from work when it happened.
