I have a 125 gallon aquarium. Its 6 feet by 18inches. 473L.
I have..
10 Angelicus Botia (love these loaches!)
1 male blue gourami
1 female gold gourami
1 female opaline gourami
1 bristlenose pleco
and 13 long-finned rosy barbs (3 male, 10 female)

I originally didn't want all these rosys but I keep buying more females to try to ease down the nippy males. Now I have a tank full of a species I don't know if I really want.. I feel pretty stupid. When I had them in a smaller tank I really enjoyed them... but now that I have a tank this size I feel like I'm not really using the space as well as I could. I would like to look at my tank and see something more stunning than a school of fish that resemble goldfish =/...

How would I even try to go about finding them a new home?? or should I just get over it and keep them??
if I do sell/give them away... what species do you recommend with what I currently have??

Please let me know your opinion =) I always have such a hard time getting responses!

You're not really limited with a 125 gallon tank. And it's not all too hard to rehome fish IME. Usually if something needs to go I just post an add on craigslist for free fish, and tell them it's required to provide proof of a tank environment suitable for them (without telling them what the suitable tank environment is, this also keeps a lot of people from lying) and from there I'll usually find a few good people for them after weeding out all the bad ones.

Other people will post their fish on aquabid or something, and others will just bring them to any LFS that will take them.

Thanks! I feel much better about finding them a new home. Once they're gone I'll have quite a bit of room to play with..

I'd love to hear some opinions on some species that would go well with my loaches and gouramis... and doesn't look so much like a boring goldfish. I have a natural tank with sand, driftwood, plants, slate, and rocks... so maybe a little color would be nice =)

What about some rainbow fish? Nice big shole of them in a big planted tank would look awesome! Or some clown loach? Your tank is certainly big enough.

What about Congo tetras?
