Demise Of Guppies, Might Be Finrot

Can't tell in the pic.
If your fish had velvet it would stand out like a golden dusting on a fish.
Rusty coloured varnish, or yellow spots. velvet can even look like the fish has been sprinked in talc.

Its not a sprinkling. I think it might be natural irridescence. I cant make my mind up.

Finrot can be a secondary infection meaning there something else going off.
Were all the fish flicking.

No, not all of them

Any excess mucas on the gills or body of the fish.

No
Do the gills look pale with excess mucas or red inflamed.
No

Do any fish look pale or darker in colour.
None of the live ones ... some of the deceased lost their colour prior to death.

Any of the guppys look bloated or thin.
The first one to die looked thin, none of the rest looked thin. One or two looked slightly bloated and were floating belly up, but again just before death or when dead. They didnt have the type of bloat that made the scales stick out. To be fair, the bloated ones were female so likely pregnant
What does it look like when the fish go to the toilet.
Not seen anything unusual

Thank you.

How long should I leave the carbon in the filter?

Most Med's suggest taking the carbon out whilst using. Have you left the carbon in?

I treated for 3 days with myxazin as directed, but this hasnt made any difference. I also added an airstone. I have now put carbon in the filter to take out the medication as it wasnt doing any good.
