Custom Tanks ?

Hi all

im wanting to get a tank in my room as im wanting a pair of discus but cant seem to find a tank that would fit as i that tanks i see for the dimension dont seem to be very deep

ideally the tank dimensions i want would be a corner unit 70x70 cm but could push 80x80 cm by however deep it would need to be as i read that discus like deep water?

also it brings me to the question on seals, for some reason and im probally just being paranoid buy i dont trust silicone seals i kind of prefer the juwel seals or something it looks like its got alot of grab to it am i right in thinking this ?

i am fully aware that discus are alot of responsibility and attention to detail is needed

tank is not big enough for discus really

silicone is what everyone uses, even juwel

Yeah the black stuff in jewel tanks is just silicone, you hear of occasional leaks but it is in no way a regular thing. I dont know that much about discus but from what I do know they prefer to be in groups I dont think they really work as pairs. If you want pairs maybe look to other cichids.
