yes..it' the first of every month
July 1st tanks sized at 17 to 29 US gallons
August 1st..tanks sized at 30 US gallons and larger
Sept 1st...tanks sized at 16 US gallons and smaller
Entry period is for approximately 6 days

Stepped away from kitchen tanks. And changed out HOB for sponge filter in my 29gal in my room. All fish hiding but also blacked out 3 sides. Now plants growing in well

So today i am blacking out 3 sides of all tanks on my rack by window. (Slight algae issue plus I think looks great) .67 cent sheets of poster board.
Shrimp tank done.
Guppy tank done. Betta got permanent home in kids room.

Shrimp tank also got sponge filter and more plants. No more HOB.
Later today I'll update as I'm working on cherry barb tank on top rack.

I use black cartridge paper - cheap and effective!

I have a half shell cleaned and waiting for my husband to cut a little door in it so I can put it in the tank.

Here is a look at the tank corner in my kitchen currently. I put a lot of work moving from other parts of house and rescaping. Still 2 tanks in rooms didn't make it to corner.

UPDATE****
So I am switching the substrate in cherry barb tank.
(Purchased this tank on CL and substrate falling apart)
And as a crazy fish keeper I woke up and realized I could slide down cherry barbs and give betta 10gal upgrade.
I made this decision last minute so I ordered 2 more bags substrate (yes eco complete its just what I love). So for 2 days betta tank will be no substrate.
I'll keep posted as I get it moving along

Thank you. He is young and sold as just "baby boy" no breed name at LFS next to others with names. So of course my twins have just named him baby boy.
