55 gallon livestock ADVICE N TIPS

Ok so on my 55gallon planted tank I will list my stock. My question is can I get a few more corys? I will stay on top of water as now heavily stocked. With 2 pvc caves. One decorated one still needs to be done.

21 neon tetra
20 silvertip tetra
1 rubberlipped plecostomus
Below were adopted medicated then introduced
4 glowfish
1 stripped Rafael catfish
1 gold ram.

I just purchased 6 three striped corys. They are in quarantine now. But will go in here in a month.

Your rubberlip pleco and gold ram aren't the most compatible of fish. The pleco needs cool, highly oxygenated water with a fair bit of flow, as it comes from high altitude streams in the Andres, whereas the ram needs warm water and virtually no current. I got a rubberlip plec last month and adapted the tank to the conditions it required -- it's at 23-23.5 degrees, and I have a powerhead -- and it was clear that the Bolivian ram was not having a good time. He's now been moved to another tank with minimal flow and a warmer temperature. And if your gold ram is Mikrogeophagus Ramirezi, it needs even warmer water than the Bolivian.

Also, the raphael might eat the neons.

Both members above are correct. The Gold Ram is a variety of Mikrogeophagus ramirezi and it must have warm water, 80F/27C is absolute minimum, but a couple degrees higher would suit it even better. However, the neons cannot have water this warm, nor can the pleco; 75-77F/24-25C is needed for these. So these fish cannot remain together, as there is no middle ground when it comes to temperature requirements this far apart.

The Raphael will eat any fish it can fit in its mouth, and it gets a good size as the link above indicates.
