My outside pond with my Angels, Discus, Kissers, etc. etc......(topic elsewhere) is leaking water from the filter at a rate of about 3" per day..... How convenient!... so I just need top up 3" daily (instead of 15" weekly) and whalah!!!.... This is one leak in the system which I welcome and appreciate.... (I am now contemplating to create (deliberate) leakages in all of my other outside ponds).... I think it is to the benefit of my fish. To top up evaporated water though, is detrimental as the chemicals just build up.
