Spotted a gorgeous black super delta Betta at one of my LFS last weekend. As some of you may know i have a 35L tank with 5 Cardinals in at the moment, would i be ok to add him to this tank with these fish or not? If not then i would have to leave him as i am a bit stuck with the Cardinals.

It depends on the personality of the betta.
He may bully them, or they may bully him, or they may leave each other well alone. See how he reacts to other fish in the shop, and if he seems okay then I'd say go for it. :good:

He was in with a group of Normans Lampeyes and was paying no attention to them at all, but just thought i would check seeing as cardinals are a bit brightly coloured.

In that case, I'd say you should probably more be keeping an eye on the cardinals than the betta, but you never know. :good:

LOL! Would love to. I will have to have a think about it tomorrow and see what happens. The tank is in my daughters bedroom so i was thinking it would be kind of like a pet for her (to go with the dogs, hamster and rabbits!!) Maybe black would be a bit boring though? He was £8.95, does that sound about right? Crown tails were £5.95

I had a purple Halfmoon Plakat for £12, the more exotic the better ;)

Marie has her male betta in with cardinal tetras and they are all fine together :good: Your CT's are a very good price in your lfs. You can only bet Vt's in any of my lfs.
