ive open up another thread to try help out with the cycling bit
so wats my main aim now
test every day ?
add ammonia when it reaches O
then what do i expect??

What you expect is that the ammonia will move through faster and faster with time. As soon as you are moving the ammonia along, nitrites will start to build up. After a while the nitrites will start processing and producing nitrates. Expect the time you spend with high nitrites, that you can't even measure, to be longer than it took to get the ammonia processing well. Once both nitrites and ammonia are both processing to zero in less than 12 hours, you will be ready to start thinking about adding fish.
