Hi There,

I'm planning on setting up a community 65 liter ( 17 gal) tank.

Here are some fish I'm planning on getting

Blue Mystery Snail x1
Buenos Aires Tetra x 4
Cobalt Blue Gourami Male x2
Corydoras – Peppered Cory 2-3cm x3
Kuhli Loach x2
Long-Fin White Cloud Mountain Minnow x6
Neon Tetra x3

is this too much? are they all compatible?

Cheers

Hey Frank, welcome to TFF!

That stocking will not work. We call it fish soup ;)

Tank is too small for Buenos Aires Tetras.

What species of gourami is that? Dwarf gourami? Two males will fight each other, so you should only get one. For any other gourami species except the honey gourami, the tank is too small.

Before really recommending on any stocking, it would be great to know your water parameter (KH&GH).

In general, the larger the groups of a non-territorial fish the better. Your groups are too small. Minimum should be six, but that is still too less for many species. For a tank that size one should choose 1-3 different species only (roughly bottom, middle and top).

I highly recommend to get sand as substrate! It is mandatory if you want to get corys. Also try live plants! There are very easy ones and the tank biology and the fish will benefit greatly. Same holds true for ramshorn and malaysian trumpet snails.

Feel free to ask any questions.

I fully agree with hobby5.
