I'm trying to decide what to put in my new 55g and like angelfish...I know they can't be with fin nippers so what community fish should I stay away from

Avoid Neons. I hear Cardinals too, but I have them and there fine so far. They might get eaten when the angels grow, but I also hear the angels might get used to living with them and be fine. Who knows. If there eaten, then Ill add new fish.

I think you should also avoid barbs other than Cherry and like rosy. I think the others nip.

I'll probably be shouted down, but I have kept full sized Angels with Cardinals for many years and not once had a problem.
