Anyone know what cichlids can be added to a community tank aside from Blue Apisto and Rams?

400ltr. Angels, Silver Sharks, Congo Tetras, Clown Loaches, Corys, Bule Apisto, Blue Rams

Ah cool decent size, what kind of substrate do you have? Also when mixing bigger cichlids with smaller ones like the rams and apistos can be a bit problematic - the rams more so than the apistos.

A few of the larger cichlids that would work in that tank would be Severums, most species of geophagus, blue acaras, krobia, larger laetacaras, festivums, maybe a chocolate cichlid, firemouths and ellioti types - quite a lot really because you dont have any small fish that wont get eaten your options are pretty large.

I use sand as the substrate. Like the idea of Severums, are they a peacful fish?

Most are but its often down to the individual fishes personality but most of the time Sevs are pretty good tank mates for those you have at present.

Just had a look around and like the blue acaras. can they be kept in a community tank though as people are saying different things. Kribs look quite good also
