I have a Co2 diffuser so should I keep adding the liquid carbon (liquid Co2 i guess) or cut it out completely??

I've never used or heard of using liquid CO2 - the only way that I can see that it'll work is by a chemical reaction and I'm loath to add any chemicals to my tank thats not necessary.

I use a Hagon CO2 diffuser and find it works brilliantly definately shouldn't be a need for any extra additions - if you're not careful you'll force the O2 out and start having problems with the fish.

Hi CoPz, are you talking about the seachem excell organic carbon liquid? I still use mine with Co2 as its supposed to help iron takeup as well. I have an eheim CO2 monitor though and when I first put the two together the carbon reading was too high so I would say be carefull with the dosing, maybe use half of the recommended but still keep monitoring CO2 levels.
