Clown Knifefish

Those clowns are going to get huge as people have already said. I hope you knew how big they would get before you got them

I have one that is about 16 inches long now. They grow very quickly and mine is growing on just pellets cos he will not take prawn or lancefish .. which isn;t ideal

I keep mine with 9 large silver dollars and there are 2 synspilium cichlids bichir and fire eel in there. Mines only a 60x30 x 24 however I am getting a large tank next year for them to go in

You need to decide whether you are able to afford a tank upgrade and if so whether your parents will allow it ( not being patronising.. I have to ask the wife!!) for a fish that will hide or remain subdued for a lot of the time. I personally love them and class them as my favourite fish hence why I am getting a larger tank for him and the other fish are sharing HIS tank

I have tried explaining this to him also, I am 15 too, yet I can also talk like someone with an education, in texts I can understand 'slang' like that, but on a forum where you have a proper keyboard, it is actually easier to type the whole word. Also, I would like to point out, every single user of this forum speaks English, not 'Bl-English'

You guys are driving me nuts with this crap. You got a full sized QWERTY keyboard, use it!

I think good sized datnoids(same size) would go well, red tail cats(same size), gulper cat(slightly smaller), and giraffe cats(same size). I saw 120g, so im assuming you already have a 120g tank and you arent going to upgrade to that size in 5 years. These fish are all giants, so hopefully your tank is at least 2 ft wide. The reason why i am suggesting these fish is because they dont really move much. Most of the time they are just sitting around chilling.

What size is your tank?

What fish would you like? Some gourami that grow larger can fit probably. Sometimes It also depends on your fish's personality. (SOMETIMES, rarely though. )

Red Line Torpedo Barbs should be fine with a Clown Knife, Jules H-T had 5 Red Lines with his Black Ghost Knife

Clown Knifes are very different to Black Ghost Knifes, apart from the fact clowns grow to over double the size of the BGK (40inches+ compared to 18inches+, they are bullyish predators that would have no trouble ripping through a shoal of slim, torpedo barbs.

i had no idea that Clown Knives grow that big, they sound very impressive!

i suggested red lines as they grow to around 6 inches long and are very fast fish, i thought they should be able to keep out of the clown knifes way but i've got no experience with knifes so im probably wrong...

Clownknives strike is extremely quick, they extend their jaw to create a vacuum. If that torpedo barb ever gets close to the knife, itll be gone in the blink of an eye.

I thought the whole point of slang was shortening words making them easier to remember?. And I dont know where street slang came from but what he is doing is text slang as mentioned. You are not ghetto mate, just Chav.
