Clearly I've Gone So Wrong Somewhere...

My poor Flame has died too... This is turning out to be a very up and down ride for me : (

Yesterdays readings for both tanks were:

Main tank:

Ammonia: 0.5

PH: 6.4
KH: 50
GH: 125
Nirate: 0 / 10
Nirite: 0

Flames tank was:

Amonina: 0.5

PH: 6.4
KH: 50
GH: 125
Nirate: 10
Nirite: 0.5

Things were just starting to look like they were fixing in her tank. But she just couldn't hang on that little bit longer : (

Oh my, I am so sorry.. never easy to loose something you obviously care so much for..
Condolences are in order for sure.

From my read Prime Ordeal has given you quite solid advice, the stress of it all must have just been too much,
A large run of bad timing/ luck

you are to be commended for your perseverance and commitment.

Thank you tmiller.

Yes, I've been getting some good advice that I'm very greatful of from everyone. I know that if I can just keep it up for a few more days then things should start to look better for everyone. It is hard when you know that you can't speed things up any more, but at least I know now how to fix everything.

I would have been at a total loss without comeing here.

Yesterday's results:

Main tank

Ammonia: 0 / 0.5

PH: 6.4
KH: 50
GH: 125
Nirate: 10
Nitrite: 0

Quari tank

Ammonia: 0 / 0.5

PH: 6.4
KH: 50
GH: 125
Nitrate: 10
Nirite: 0.5

The ammonia is still doing that not-quite-yellow-not-quite-green thing. But the Nitrate results are definatly pink now for both tanks. And yesterday so was the Nitrite for the quari tank. So I think things are slowly but surely looking better. Does it look like it's going right?

Your on track I would think..
Attention to the readings and bi daily changes until ( and a day or three after).

Crossing my fingers for you that it wont be long now.
