Cleaning Filter

Hello Everyone,

Just wondered what the best route was to go about cleaning the filter? I am assuming to just take out tank water and swish the filter pads in the tank water and return them to the filter. Is this correct? Thanks in advance!

yes thats correct,,make sure its tank water give a good squezze

yep thats the way NEVER use tap water

Apart from any stage-one filter floss which is cleaned each water change never clean all your foam/noodles at any one time. Do half one water change then the other half the next time and so on, that way you will not disturb all the bacteria at any one time

Yeah I have several filters and clean them at different times. Clean them when you do a water change in the old tank water
