Cleaning A 25L Jerry Can

Hi All,

I've got a couple of 25l jerry cans which I used to transport water when I last moved house. Since then they have sat empty in the garden but there must have been a bit of water in there as there as there is some stubborn algae in the bottom that I cant get at to scrub off!

Anyone got any ideas on how I can clean them out properly? I've heard some people say denture cleaning tablets could bo the trick but I'm not too sure!

Sterilisng tablets used for cleaning baby bottles or bleach in water.

Must rinse out thoroughly though!
