Weirdly warm here, too. Almost 40F. No snow.

Slap, Colin is in Australia, so for him it IS summer! That's kind of cheating.

Yeah, I caught that. That's really, really hot. We used to sing a song about "Christmas in Australia on a scorching summer day", to the tune of jingle bells.

Ridiculous, I can’t believe it’s actually Christmas Day. I was chillin in shorts and a short sleeve shirt today, and even then I was getting heated while outside.

We went out to look at lights and it was actually spitting rain for a few minutes. Crazy.

It was showing as 11 degrees here yesterday, damp with fine, drizzle nearly all day…due to be similar today…

apparently it dropped to 25C this morning at 5am, but by 8am it was back up to 30C.

right now at 3:45pm it 43C and no wind at all.

We had a heat wave last summer it got to 113f. Thankfully thats unusual

It's always been a thing in my family that some of the ancestors came to Canada when they could just as easily have gone to Australia. They escaped prison during a fire, and hopped a boat north. Many have wondered if they should have turned themselves in and headed south. It's cold and we don't have rainbowfish here.
Based on Colin's postings, they are now forgiven for their choices, and I will no longer curse their decisions when I step out into a -35 February morning.

it's after midnight and still 33C and the wind has picked up and there is dust blowing everywhere.

I thought the wind was meant too pick up during the day and was caused by the hot air rising.
