As normal it's dependant on the size of the shrimp vs the size of the angel. I have Amano with my large angel and as they are quite big and there's a lot of hiding places they do fine.

ok i will see what sort of shrimp and the sizes my lfs has

also would a flying fox eat cherry/Amano shrimp if i got one for my algea problem

I've never kept flying foxes but don't they get too large? If it were my tank I'd get a Bristlenose Plec for algae plus identifying why I had the algae in the first place...
