Changing Stones

[sup]i am thinking of changeing the stones in the bottom of my fish tank would i need to remove my fish??? and if so where should i put them
what else would i need to do in this proces???
if you think there is any think else i need to know??

if you are... then .....

remove fish in a big water container with heater and filter.

Remove Substrate and put in new substrate. Rescape. Add Water. Add Fishes. Turn on filter.

Just to add, make sure your tank water is at or close to normal temperature before adding the fish back.

Make sure you have no kamikaze fish who like to jump! Cover the container if you can - less stress for them!
