Changed To Sand

hi all
just a quick before and after
just changed to sand was like this

now

think my loach likes it digging around already lol ,, think need to get a coupl of plants now , my female betta not sure yet lol
any opinions welcome

I like it. Gives me an idea of what mine will look like when I make the change lol. What size is your tank? I'm a fan of hex type tanks.

its only a 25l tank. was my first tank. just use it for my female betta and a loach . will be moving loach to my large tank when do that one as well.
just need to get another female last one died ( had her 18 months )

its an interpet pf mini , its been ok for me not had any problems with it

will see how it copes now with the sand . have had more fish in tank in past was ok

mines a marina i20 and its horrible, it falls off all the time and you change everything, so every time you change the cartridge you loose all the bacteria

had a bit of trouble a few months agoo with it falling off but ok now .

just 3 sponges in it so just rinse them. not changed any yet

Elite Mini filters are good too, as well as the Interpet ones.

Moss balls are good, yes. A dwarf anubias (nana variety) on a bit of bogwood would also do well and give your betta a bit of cover and a resting place. They need minimal care and grow in low light.
