This is my tank, A lot more simple but i like it, ( Im adding new plants soon)

Hi Bambi. The brown stuff was algae and it will grow if there is enough light for a long enough time every day. It won't matter what the decor in the tank is. If you have live plants, it can be hard to get them growing well without having enough light to let the algae grow. I don't think I like the soda bottle, it doesn't add much to the look in my opinion. The little rock caves look nice but be sure that you fasten them so they can't fall on your fish. I use aquarium sealer to glue rocks together and then let the sealer cure well before putting the rocks into my tanks. Often, not always, a feature like the rock pile will look better if it is positioned off center so that it brings the eye to focus more on one side of the tank. It might be worth a try before you add the plants so you don't need to backtrack. It is definitely worth getting the rocks the way you want them before gluing them together.
