My sister has a 5g tank which she agreed I could put some ADFs in about 3 months ago. so I did heaps of research and when I got to the shop the guy seemed to know what he was talking about so my mum said "why not get some of those shrimps?" and pointed out the chameleon shrimps. so stupidly I bought two on the lfs guy's advice where he said they would live fine with the frogs and I said I had a baby molly and 2 tetra in the tank. he said they would be fine.
since I bought them, the bigger one (was about 4cm long when I bought it, now about 8-10cm) has proceeded to kill both tetras, both frogs and the other shrimp. we moved the molly out. (actually i dont know if he did kill them, but he had a go at the carcases if he didnt!)
Im sure he is very pleased with himself now that he has a 5g all to himself.
But its a waste of a 5g tank. I dont wanna get rid of Corporal Murray because god knows where he will end up, but my sister is getting annoyed that she can't use her tank. What else can I put with the shrimp?
