I want to buy a new cave and I was wondering whether if I could use a cave from my vivarium?

not sure about using one from your viv. might be ok depending on what its made from!! am sure someone on here could advise better on that. just an idea...you can make really cool caves out of roofing slate (well washed!!) and aquarium silicone.

With anything going in the tank just make sure it is made of fish friendly materials.

As far as silicone goes, there are some called "aquarium grade silicone" buy it's just the same as 100% silicone. The difference is that you want no additives at all. Just 100% silicone... Some have anti-mold stuff in there and so on.
