Catfish For A 180Ltr

Hi everybody. Getting a new 180 Ltr this weekend and was wondering what catfish I could have, I mean a catfish not a pleco. Any ideas?
Will start a journal when I get the tank.

It depends on what else you're planning on putting in there but a Striped Raphael might work.

Striped Raphael get quite big and are not very active at all so i dont think they would be the best choose. What else is going in the tank? What do you wan just 1 or 2 bigger fish or a shoal of smaller once?

Upside down catfish
Anchor catfish
Bumblebee catfish
to name a few.

Trying to compile a stocking list really, but have settled on 2 angels, 2 starlight bristlenose and any others that are suggested really.

glass cats are another choice but if youve only got tank recently might be best to set it up,cycle and mature some first.

It would be best to just go for 1 angel if im honest. If you just get 2 if there males they will fight if there male and female theres no guarantee they will pair and could just fight. If you really want 2 you would be best to get 4 and wait for 2 to pair but that will reduce the options alot.
I would go for
1 Angelfish
20 Cardinal tetra
10 Corys
2 Starlight BNs
3 Upside down catfish or Bumblebee catfish or Hoplo catfish

If you do go for Glass catfish make sure you go for atleast 6+ but 8+ being best otherwise they will be very shy and often refuse to eat.

I like the glass cats the best out of all of them, but would rather have tiger barbs instead of the cardinals, if I have the barbs I might have to swap the angel out.

Yeah tiger barbs wouldnt be a good choose with Angels or glass catfish.

The Tiger barbs will bully the Glass catfish so there likely to be very shy and refuse to eat and most likely die. Tiger barbs really arnt the best choose if you want a community tank. If you go for glass catfish you sort have have to choose the stocking around them.

That looks good to me. Maybe something like a Keyhole cichlid as a centre piece fish.

If you ditched the tiger barbs just to give you an idea you could go for
12 Glass catfish
12 sterbai cories
3 Apistogramma agassizii or 2 Keyhole cichlids
2 Starlight BNs

umm. Whats the minimum amount of tigers I could have? Not too keen on the keyhole either anything else?

Minimum is 6 but the less you have the more likely they are to be aggressive with other fish. Maybe a Blue acara or a Trio or Apistogramma agassizii.
