Cat Or Dog Person?

Depends on the dog, but have always loved cats. Basically I can't imagine having a house without BOTH a couple of cats and dogs running around. But then I do tend to live in a bit of a zoo with (down to) 1 cat, 2 dogs, a three bay avairy of various birds, too many fish tanks, 2 ponds and the least demanding pets of all Australian native stingless bees....plus any wildlife that needs care/ rehabilitation.

I like dogs but I am definitely a cat person.

I respect cats more than dogs too. If you abuse a dog (I don't) it just keeps coming back for more. Abuse a cat (I wouldn't dare ) and it will claw your eyes out or head for the hills and never come back to your sorry @$$.

I also don't like the way dogs smell, yes, they ALL have that smell. Even if you bath them, they only smell good for a day then back to the "dog smell" again lol. Don't get me wrong, I love dogs and I really want one but my OCD prevents me from doing it. I pet dogs with my foot. Oh and the drool, I can't handle the drool.

Yes I love my cat even though she doesn't listen to anything I tell her, but she is very well groomed and her fur smells nice. She controls my entire life and I am her servant....what a smart lil kitty

Cats are awesome. My cat doesnt listen to me, and he rules my world. The one thing I will never understand...you could feed your cat nothing but chicken and beef....but their breath always smells like fish..But man I love my kitties! Fishy breath and all!

I'm allergic to cats aswell, so I'm a definite dog person! I do wish that I wasn't allergic though, I'd quite like a cat.

I'm allergic to some cats but not others. I always have to test them before rehoming them (usually I cut to the chase and rub them on one side of my face, if that side flares up I don't get that cat). I'm not allergic to my cats but I am allergic to at least one of my best mates (he has 3), so I just always take an antihistamine before I go there.

For the record though, neither of my cats have fish breath but then, they don't eat fish. Ever. So that could be why...

My sentiments exactly. In fact, when you can get a cat to love you and want to hang out with you, it's a sure sign that you must be an amazing person lol.
