Scottish Highland bulls are some of the most easy going bulls out there, but his massive horns are sharp, and while he is not aggressive, he does like to whip those horns around, so he commands respect…

A flash from the past. What ever happened to Sam and the boys?

Sam was born in 1937 and is still living. Sam the Sham and the Pharaohs performed together for just a few years and their best hits were Wooly Bully and Li’l Red Riding Hood. Wooly Bully made it to number 1 on the Billboard 100 chart. Lil Red Riding Hood made it to number 2 on the charts. Sam was actively singing till the early 80s.

I’ve heard and love the song “Riding Hood” as well, and the song is how Wooly Bully got his name… he is a pure bred, but is not registered… so no papers with the name, but cool, all the same

now that my wife is ill, and I’ve taken over some of the house chores, and have to run her to the clinic for dialysis 3 times a week… it’s a good thing I just retired, as i wouldn’t have time for a “real” job… 13 aquariums are stress relief, but admit, they don’t look as nice , as when I had more time… something has to give, most often algae scraping, and cosmetic diddling…

the county snowmobile trail runs across our driveway, down at the end, so these pastures end about 75 feet from the end of the drive way… which should be plenty of width to run snowmobiles between the ends of my pastures, and the road, but because a lot of snowmobilers are “casual” about staying on the groomed trails, and often, enough alcohol is involved to allow questionable judgement, I’m marking the ends of my pastures very heavily with signage closer to the snowmobile trail… this is one of the reflective signs I found, to improve the fence visibility…
