Here's my first attempt at a planted Tropical tank :)

Tank: Aqua One Evo 100
Dimensions: 100(L) x 40(D) x 55(H) CM
Volume: 190L/50 US Gallons.
Lighting: T5 fluorescent lights 2 x 39W
Heater: 300W.
Filter: Aquis CF1000 external canister filter.

Substrate: Silver aquarium sand
Plants: Normanpha stricta, Rotala species, Elodea dense, Ludwigia, Bacopa moneirii, Vallis, Ceratopteris thalictroides, Amazon sword, Caroliniana cabomba, Ludwigia repens, Anuibias Nana on the wood
Decor: Bogwood, 2 coconut caves, large rocks, small rocks, large pebbles, small pebbles, air stone

Future plans: Nymphaea Tiger Lotus Red (on order), add Java moss to the outside of the coconut caves, replace shiny black background with a matt black background

Current Stock: 2 Opaline Gourami (m), 1 Bulldog Pleco, 3 Columbian Red Fins, 2 Black Phantoms
Future Stock: 1-2 Angelfish, 2 Bolivian Rams (m/f), 1 Blue Acara, 6 Corydoras

That tank is nice, will be stunning when the plants fill out a bit :good:
 
lovely tank , however i would move your filter intake up a bit other wise it will suck up too much sand and clog filter
 
beautiful tank,,,,love derek and those colombian tetra's :drool:
very rare that you see people keeping colombians but i think there stunning fish, got to get me another tank to set up with them :good:

I got my Nymphaea Lotus Red today. It's smaller than I thought it would be but a lovely plant. Will look lovely once it grows!
 
Looks good although im not a fan of white sand, it tends to wash the colours of the fish out and if its fine playsand type tends to go bad if not stirred up often. Plants look good although the front left one appears to be a non aquatic.
