Can't Add Pic?

Ive been trying for about half an hour but i can't add any photo's?

Have you uploaded them onto the internet first?

Most people have an account on www.photobucket.com The account is free and you just log in, upload your photo and copy the link like an url into the post where you want it to show up. If you want the actual picture to show (and not just the link to it), then click on the little picture of a tree inside a frame at the top of the text box where you're typing.
The buttons go Smiley face --> chain link ---> tree in a frame ---> envelope ---> speech bubble

So just to re-iterate.
Upload photo onto photobucket.com
Once it's uploaded click on it and copy the url
Either paste the url directly into the text box on here or click the little picture of the tree and copy it into that box instead.

Just as curiousity said

Upload a picture to photobucket (you'll need to create a free photobucket account first)

Once the picture is uploaded, click save (you dont need to add any tags to the pic)

Each pic has their own 4 unique codes, highlight the <img> code, all of it including the <img> and </img> parts then paste the code into your thread on here either by clicking the tree in a frame button as curiousity mentioned, or alternatively just paste the img code into your thread and it will show the picture once the thread is posted. Voila!

Thanks.Can i not upload them straight from my laptop? I don't have a photo bucket account. Only wanted to add 2 pics. Cant get the 'attachment' bit at the bottom to work where is says 'browse'??

I have only rarely seen anyone able to use that... often people upload then no one can see it. I don't see why you'd want to do it over a photobucket account...?
It's free... your pics are then stored online forever and always accessible... you wont 'just want to add 2 pics '

In the long run photobucket will be easiest.

However if you really don't want to make an account then upload using imageshack and then take the url and follow the steps above.

You can upload straight to photobucket from your laptop but we really don't maintain any storage space here for pictures. That is why we upload to photobucket and just use links. You paste the link identified as an [img ] link directly into your text here and the end result is something that looks like a picture here.
This is an example of a picture stored elsewhere.

If you right click it and look at the View Image Info, you will find where the picture is stored along with some additional information about my plant picture. If you simply copy the information about location and paste that into your browser's navigation space, the place where you would type all that http/www stuff, it will take you right to the actual picture.
