Can You Turn Off My Betta Tank Heater At Night Time ?

My betta is doing great since buying him from pet shop, 1st few days he was sulky and bored i don't think pet shops take real good care of there fish i think they mainly work on sales only. Hes swimming around and coming up to the surface for food and have got him flaring up aswel.

pet shops need to be assessed by inspectors from government or an animal welfare agency on a constant basis clearly fish are not happy being there. My betta is doing fantastic since coming home with me.

anyone know how to train a betta ? I heard you can on commands.

I have never heard of betta commands but, i tap the water in the corner of the tank when its time for him to eat and he swims up.
