Can Someone Help Me Find An Old Post?

I wouldn't think so, even if that was the case it would only have been locked, which I believe you can still search for.

A thread can be moved into the mod junk files which mods can still access but I couldn't find it there. I don' think it's the bottomless one anyway. I think we are all thinking about the same thread wwith the tank similar to Ooh's drawing (better than I could have done) but I still haven't been able to find it. I know P&J has only been a member for a short time so I am thinking it appeared again via the Similar Topics.

I even looked through my old posts as I thought for sure I would hae posted to it but I found nothing there (although I have so many pages of old posts, I could have missed it).

Wow, thanks for helping guys.

RDD- I think you are right, it was probably an old topic that I found by accident, but I'm not positive. On the other hand, do old topics cycle out, or should it still be there even if it was really old?

OohFeeshy- You are exactly right! Excellent drawing! A "lip" is a great way to characterize it. Did you post in that thread, or just read it? Perhaps we could find it that way if you posted.

Boboboy- Not the same tank I'm looking for, but that is quite awesome. I'll read through that post when I have some time though, as I think the discussion is probably similar.

As for searching, I too have searched on just about every term, including "how does it work" and variations. Despite that, I hadn't even run across the threads Boboboy posted!

If it came up under Similar Topics, it would almost assureedly still show up on the same thread you originally saw it on. I think it pulls up the 5 most recent threads that the title matches the closest. So something in the title of the thread you originally went into would match something in the title of the similar threads. It appears that it starts with the first word and works from there. For instance, I just looked at a thread that started with "My" and all of the similar topics had "my" in the title but not necessarily first in the title. In that particular case, the threads weren't similar at all except they contained the work "my".

That is indeed the one I remember seeing. I will look a little more. Since that page is dated in March of 2007, it narrows down the time frame of when it may have been.

Edit: I have looked and still can't find it. I did however find this site that has more pictures of it and a little discussion on the physics.
