I have two aquariums, a 75 gallon and a 120 gallon. If I were to keep rope fish, and at least one west African green bichir, how many could I keep in each aquarium ( if possible )?
I will have a somewhat planted aquarium for the rope fish, and will have a cave system for the fish. Sand substrate too.
I would prefer to house then in my 75 gal If possible

I don't know anything about the African green bichirs but either tank is fine for multiple ropes. The 75 would be fine for at least 3 ropes but, like I said, I don't know the African green bichir.

If I may... I would suggest having areas for each rope that is heavily planted with stem plants as they like to weave in and out. This behavior is likely why they are also known as reed fish.
