Can I Keep Endler's Livebearers

As of now i only have the amount of fish which are listed in my signature which are as follows : 3 Male Mollies (Sailfin)- two of these are quite small about 2-3 inches. 1 Male Platy. 2 Cordydoras, A small 1 inch fry (Molly) and 4 tetras.

My tank is looking really bare and at times it looks as though theres nothing in it !
I have been interested in endlers from this forum for around 1 year and a half, and only yesterday i saw a tank of endlers livebearers for the first time, after re reseaching these, im wondering if they are suitable or not for the size of my tank and also because mine is open topped !!

Suggestions please?

You should really have about 6 corys together

As for the endlers, should be fine if you have surface plants? if not, then I have known them to jump occasionally, so grab a colver glass, or some water lettuce/amazonian frogbit etc.

With an open topped tank yo are always going to be taking a risk so I'd suggest you invest in a cover glass.

Male endlers are teeny tiny and if you plan to get bigger fish or if yur mollies reach full size (4-6 inches depending on variety) you might find your endlers go AWOL.

I would also boost your shoal sizes for the tetras and corys before getting new fish. You say your tank looks empty - having tetras in tiny groups will just make them look small and insignificant. Plus, as they are shoaling fish part of their welfare is the need for lots of companions. Before you get endlers I would boost your cory, neon tetra and black neon tetra shoals to 6-8 each.

I would also only get male endlers. You don't want babies unless you have a grow-out tank and plans for reliable and experienced fish keepers to send the fry to.
