Can I Get Any More Fish?

Hi, I would like to buy some more cichlids for my 60 gallon tank. It is completely cycled and all my fish are very healthy. What I was wondering was if I had room to add a breeding pair of either convicts or firemouths. Really, I just wanna add any pair of south american cichlid that is relatively small. My stocking list is:
Jack Dempsey 5"
Electric Blue Cichlid 5"
Pleco 6"
Sun Catfish 6"
Angelfish 4"(fully mature adult size)
Eel 7" (cant recall the exact name)
African Brown Knife 6"
Leporinus Fasciutus 6"
Bala Shark 3"

I really would like to add a small breeding pair of any fish, but would still survive in this tank. If not two fish, then any other fish will do. I just feel that the tank seems very empty and want another colorful south american cichlid. Thank you for any help

Dont bala sharks get like over a foot in length and aren't they schooling fish?

I would say you are overstocked as is. Not to mention a breeding pair of cichlids would stress out the whole tank including themselves defending their fry. The sun catfish will get huge, I had one that was 16", and I'm sure they get bigger. also as mentioned the bala shark will at least get 8" or so.

Im going to get rid of the Bala shark soon. About the Sun Catfish, its other nickname is an eclipse catfish. Everything I read up on about it said that they only get about 8 inches. If not a breeding pair, how about just another cichlid. What would you reccomend? BTW, I will also be getting rid of the angelfish soon.

Bala Sharks are schooling fish, however I have been advised by other forum members that unless you have a tank the size of an Olympic swimming pool then you shouldn’t have them.

2 black convicts(breeding pair)

1 Bala Shark
1 Angelfish
1 Pleco

Once those convicts breed, your 60 gallon will become a 30 gallon for the others.

Well, is there any fish that are active mid to top swimmers that will school and I can get plenty of without overstocking? I want something that will stay out of the cichlids way but still fill up that gap of empty space

Gaint danios would be an option as they are large and fast. Anything smaller will get eaten by everything else in your tank at the moment. Keep in mind when all of those fish grow to their full size, they wi;; be able to eat the gaint danios then aswell.

Well, if I dont get another cichlid, then what about some dither fish? Any recommendations?

Gaint or Pearl Danios, fast, nice looking and pretty tough.

Ok so I might get either a school of giant danio or scissortail rasbora danios since they're cheaper. Which do you reccomend? Also, how many danios should I get and How should I go about introducing them to the tank?
