Can I add plants now

My tank is having problems cycling so I am now having to add ammonia. Can I add plants during this cycling or do I need to wait until it’s complete?

You can definitely add plants. It will help things settle down.

Yes on plants, but with the caution that ammponia is toxic to plants as well as fish depending upon thee level. I do not recommend using ammonia with live plants to avoid any problem.

Can you describe the cycling problems?
