Hi, Newbie warning. I have a 20G freshwater planted for about 3 months, started from scratch for the kids. 1 * 20 Gallon, Freshwater Planted, 2 * T5 HO 24W Lighting. Overcrowded with wee fish. Learnt that fewer is probably better, they will likely grow larger, etc. 4 Platinum Angel, 4 Platies
5 2 striped Dollar thingys? 2 Pleco, 2 Catfish, 2 guppy fantail, 1 cardinal tetra, 1 long cat type zebra black orange (It came home in a plant by mistake), 6 silver with tinge of electri blue and orange fins. So I need some help ID'ing some of them;

BUT I CAN'T FIGURE OUT HOW TO BROWSE FOR MY LOCAL PICS, TO UPLOAD? CAN'T SEE THE BROWSE BUTTON!

Sorry for shouting..

The angle's will get too big and also probably the plecos. The platies, guppies, and cardinal tetra will fit in a 20gal. But your numbers are not the best, I suggest you start doing research on them. As for the "long cat type zebra black orange" i'm guessing either a Kuhlii Loach or possible a clown loach. If it is a clown loach it will get too big. I have no idea about the other ones.

For pics use a photo site like photobucket.com then copy and paste the image tags and the pic will appear in your post.

Thanks, I had herd that he angels would grow big, and was kinda hoping they would so I ca angle for another bigger tank :rolleyes:

I wasn't until I looked at this site did I find out just how big Pleco's and Catfish can grow but thanks for the warning, I really hope so :hyper:

I think you are right about the Loach, I will post a picy when I get chance, or figure it out.

bloody hell seems like a lot!!!

if nothing else at least up the number of tetras by at least 4 or 5. Maybe you got lucky with the plec and its a rubber lip/bristle nose but i doubt it :( almost all fish shops sell common/sailfin plecs really cheap.

Ideally see if you can get a bigger tank. if it is a common plec and def a clown loach see if you can get a 6x2x2 tank. Yes it is big but it will mean you can keep all the fish happily and have an amazing display tank!!

Yoyo Loach...Link
Defineitly better in groups as they are very social fish. I have two and they chase and play together all day long. Very good clean up crew they will leave no food untouched.

No Clue for either of these 2..

Thanks for the Yoyo Loach, he plays with the two small catifish, (In an earlier post) they don't seem to mind. I will have to get a
another bigger tank, though

Corydoras.

I'm not very well versed in my cories, but I think they may be Peppered cories. They should stay small and need to be in groups.
