building a website

I am working on building a website devoted to my bettas. If anyone interested could check it out and maybe give me some opions and input, that would be cool. I haven't gotten any pics posted yet. I keep getting an error when I try. I e mailed the comapany and hopefully that will be straightened out in the next couple of days. The site is here

It's a bit hard to read to be honest.
The dark grey background tends to make the text less defined IMO.

As for the context of the site Great start!

Just a guess, but your pics might be too big. Try reducing the size of the pic and upload then. Also most sites want jpg's..not bmp's

Thanks for the input all. Wolf, changed the background to white with black lettering so that should clear that problem up. F250, I'll have to check the pic size. I did't think of that.

Well, I'm into cars too, and they didnt' have any backgrounds with fish, so I compromised.
