Lewis seems to be quite shy and is hiding under the plant atm..Bubbles and Rex look great against the black backround.
i will test daily...and hope and pray they will survive their predecesors.

Should i feed them today ar leave it till tomorrow?
They literally shat themselves in the bag! lol

thank you to all who have kept their paitence with me ...

ALL YOUR FISH ARE GOING TO DIE IN YOUR HORRIBLY UNCYCLED DEATH TANK!!

Ahaaa, i think for once, there is a just cause for abandoning cycling lol!

You'll likely have a decent amount of bacteria by now anyway, so even half cycled, im sure your three little guys will be fine!

awww..cheers guys.. :)
Lewis is still with us..but is still hiding...
I have been adjusting temperature as he seems a bit more active (as in wiggling around) in cooler temps..the LFS said 24-25 deg..but im not sure..any ideas?
he looks so unhappy. but has eaten some flakes.

I think they do prefer cooler temps, but mine have always been active enough at a temp that tankmates like.

should i quarentine him? surely he should be settled by now?

Sometimes it takes them a little longer to adjust. As long as he is eating, I am sure he is fine. are the other harassing him at all?

They are cute little platys. I have never seen a halfmoon before. I have Sunsets, Bumblebees, Velvet Wags, and Pandas.....I also have a Hifin. Platys are great little fish.

After 55days, I am sure you have more than enough bacteria to keep up with the three fish :p How have your water parameters been looking?

absolutly fine... Amm = 0 Ni = 0 Na = 20 ph = 7.8
do you think some more tankmates would help?
whenever the other 2 go near him he lurches forward and they swim off.
The only thing i thought of is they are all males..someone said they will fight...some say they would be fine...if i get others..do i get more males? I dont think im ready for Fry yet..so females arent too appealing.

ALSO..
If i was virtually cycled..and now my stock levels are lower...will the good bacteria die off?

Yes, they will - you want to add to the stocking gradually - a few fish at a time, and leave it a couple of weeks in between additions.

surely if i was virtually done i can put some more fish in now? seems silly letting it die off them build up again?

Your choice, I'm just advising caution because we don't really know the bacteria levels.
