Bristlenose. Male Or Female?

How old is it? At this stage, it appears to be a female. Males have larger bristles as they age.

it's 5-6 inches total length. fab fish and wanted to get it a mate.

does the mate need to be an ancistrus tamboensis or will another ancistrus about the same adult size be ok to cross breed

I found her a mate.
fantastic fish but it took 25 phone calls to find another ancistrus tamboenstris.
I added him 10 mins ago and they've both paired up straight away
