Hi badenmate,

I didn't vote in this poll because none of these fish are easy to breed. It's one of those situations that often turns out to be, "If you have to ask, you can't do it." Gourami fry are extremely tiny and providing food for them is another whole thing. They also have labryinths that are fragile and damage easily while they are developing.

I've raised some of the blue three spot gouramis successfully but it took a number of tries. Have you raised any egg laying fish before?

3spot, opaline and gold are all the same fish just different colours. They are the easiest to breed, followed by the dwarf gourami and then the chocolates.

Pearl's is the "Easiest" of the goruamis.

Chocolate's are very difficult though as the need specific water conditions and if not cared for correctly will not live very long.
Dawrfs have tiny fry and are very difficult to rear
blue/gold/oapline and 3 spots are ok ish but as Inchworm has said the hardest thing is rearing the fry you must research this if you rearly want to do it. The labryinth organ is one crucial part, as when the fry first breath if the air is chilled then they will die.
But it's good if you get that far as feeding the fry is the first challenge you need to work on.

thanks for the help people
the main parts to look out for is if you can get them to feed

yes you will need to culture some infusoria (microscopic live foods found in green water) and then from day 5 after hatching newly hatched brine shrimp.
