kuhli loaches are perfect! the aquarium is just big enough!

they probably can get eaten bye loachesw, and they cant eat snails, because of how their mouth is made.

Gotta say that having kept kuhli loaches I honestly wouldn't even feel comfortable keeping them in a 60l. They are SOOOO active it's unvelievable. In a 10gal they'd either be bouncing off the sides (literally!) or they'd have they nature surpressed.

The pygmys are a good idea.

Or poss amano shrimp, a male betta will almost definitely have a go at any of the smaller types.

+1, although small, they are active and very skittish. When they are skittish, they dart all over the tank and leap out of the water at an amazing speed, well, mine did that whenever I approached the tank. In my opinion, they need tanks around 90L or more

so to eat detrius and stuff.... most cories should be good for that purpose. as long as the tank isnt too stocked because it is better to keep 4 at a time

There will only be one male betta in the tank.

Black kuhli loaches (there're brown) only get to be 4-5 inches, so you could get a few of them.
