Bottom Dweller For Small Tank

yea i no, its just got sand in at the mo, well lighting filter and all that my next door neigher, well new fish keeping adviser lol has given me some mature filter pad things for the filter and just says put afew flakes in the tank to keep the bacteria going, he still hasnt come up with a theme, i dunno weather to go with the comunity tank or what, any ideas?
If youve put a mature filter pad / media into a tank without fish the bacteria in it will die because they have nothing to feed on. You need to add fish asap OR add ammonia solution as per fishless cycling (see link in my sig.) Just chucking a few flakes into an empty tank will do very little to keep your bacteria alive.

Stocking wise it's all down to personal preference. Id go for a school of bottom dwellers. Another school of mid level dwellers + maybe a couple of more expensive feature fish. See what others think.

Thanks a lot i have put the two white cloud minnows in, they are really hardy fish and are doing great, iv also been reading about easy plants and should be going down to my lfs soonish to pick afew up and some rocks and start aqua scaping :D :fun:
