Anyone else keep this plant ?
Ive had this one for years it’s very slow growing it’s on a small piece of bog wood
it’s in a community tropical tank with Java fern and Java moss it’s not a specialised planted setup
I was given a piece l have never actually seen it for sale

I've heard about it, but never seen it for sale. Guess you have a rather rare plant!

Yes I’ve never seen it for sale either, I suspect it’s because it’s very slow growing
I was given a small piece years ago luckily it’s doing ok it’s still quite small , probably would grow faster in a proper planted tank

Treasure it because most Bolbitis that isn't B. heudelotii or cultivar won't grow underwater. They can last at best. Co2 has gotten some people success..but others like George Farmer never had a small Bolbitis last. The only video on youtube that has that doing well is one by Felipe Oliveira. That's all I have ever found.
Myself? I know my Rainbows would eat anything delicate and slow to death.

You might want to clear the moss away from the fern. The fern is for sure the show.

definitely will treasure it , I have never seen it for sale, the shop that gave me a piece doesn’t exist any more
it is growing well just slowly but that’s ok it’s reached a reasonable size now was a tiny piece when I first got it
