Blue Acara In Midlands Area?

Heres my Pulcher (Blue Acara) and Latifrons (Gold Acara) they paired up immediately....my Blue Acara is female and my Gold Acara male.

They are both nice fish glenbo,

Not a huge difference is there? I can see the gold on the fins of the latifrons. And the stripes are more intense on the blue.

Yep not a big difference except the Blue Acara is a bit nicer looking...more intense colours and a blue + black stripe effect

The Latifrons is just a lot lighter,same facial markings tho.

If i take a picture with a flash on they look identical

A breeder told me that latifrons are slightly smaller when adult...I don't know if this is true or not,he said Blue Acaras get around 6" and Latifron about 5"...I have read elsewhere they get to 8" sometimes so i dunno.

I should take some more pics really,these one are a bit old and the Blue Acara has seriously coloured up (probably breeding colours?)

Wildwoods do postage I believe, and their wild Blue Acaras are beautiful. If I get a minute later I'll try and get a photo of mine.
