Blood Parrot Cichlid Health Tips

I have two parrot cichlids and they seem to be very pale. What kinds of food should I feed them? I am currently feeding them standard fish flakes.

Parrots will eat just about anything, but a bit of veriety in any fishes diet is important. Try some kinds of cichlid pellets, frozen bloodworm or brine shrimp, freeze dried foods. Even stick in a bit of chopped prawns as an occasional treat. De-shelled peas too always goes down a treat.
