Please say hello to my stunning Hoplias Sp. Black Wolf (Venezuelan).
He is about 14" at the moment with an immense appetite. I would not stick me hands in his tank.....

I just wish i could take better photos of him, these do not do him justice.

Nobody actually really knows the max size of these, it has been suggested as much as 28" I think that is probably unrealistic in captivity. maybe 18"

I'm planning on about 16-18" any bigger would be a bonus I think. I also think he will grow fairly quickly given his enormous appetite.

You are right he is a scary bugger, but he is very interesting and active especially for a WolfFish, he is a bit stressed in the photo's, usually he is alot darker all over.

Judging by your list in your sig, you have a very impressive group of other fish too. I don't know which one would be my favorite out of them! You have great taste in fish.
