Black Ghost Knife Fish?

I was just reading the link http/www.fishforums.net/content/Oddballs...ck-Ghost-Knife/ i was just wondering, it says you can raise them in small tanks but must upgrade....how small of a tank and how long before they need to be upgraded?

3 foot min to begin, with some nice amazonian swords so he can lay on/between the leaves

i have a 2ft and seen some small knife fishes and was wondering if that would be ok for a year or so?
