If you got just ammonia and nitrite, they are much simpler than nitrate. None of the bottles have to be shaken like nitrate, and the tubes only have to be shaken for a few seconds to mix everything up. Ammonia has 2 bottles, nitrite has one. Ammonia #1 has gloopy drops so they come out slowly; ammonia #2 has runny drops so they come out quickly - add this one slowly or they'll come out so fast you can't count them. Nitrite is also runny.
Those are the important testers as they can kill fish quickly.

Make sure you wash the test tubes as soon as you've read the colour. Anything left in the tube can cause a false reading next time. The nitrite one particularly sticks to the glass if it's left too long before washing.

Edited for spelling:blush:

Thank you.

Yep Us dollars are worth more. $1 US costs you $1.37 Au
I'm confused now.... Then why does a 25 dollar item here costs them $110 AU there? Thats a HUGE jump

Well, API is an American brand as far as I know, and some of the test kits thats UK costs 125 for us... But since API is from us (which is on the other side of the earth) its going to cost more in taxes and in shipping. Which means that a lot of the aquarium stuff that AU has probably comes from china or America.
