Betta With Gourami?

So i bought a betta today and a mystery fish came with it!!!!!! The fish is still really small but it seems to be a black and white gourami. I have never had gourami, so do they get along with bettas? If not ill have to return the fish. If they get along them ill buy somemore gourami later!!

It's not recommended as they are both anabantoids, I wish you had a camera so you could take a pic! Don't think I've heard of a black and white gourami? >.<

No, Gouramies and Bettas are not compatible! It's not a good idea to put fish together if you haven't researched them first. Can you put a divider in the tank so neither one of them will get injured by the other? 
It is also very important to know always what kind of fish you are buying, so you know whether you have the right size tank for them!

I didnt get the gourami intentionally. I guess it was put there accidently. Its a 15 gallon. I can move the gourami with the danios. Because i did know it was bad to have it with the guppies. Abd well its very small. So i assume it is a gourami. But i can return the fish tomorrow if not. I do have a picture for once!!! But i cant upload it until later x_x

Danios are temperate and gouramis are tropical so wouldn't be too keen on keeping them together.
I would take it back, personally.

no that wouldnt work because you would need a reciet stupid guppy.

I called the guy from petstore and told him he gave me an extra fish. He saod to keep it . It doesnt look like any of those. But again i could be wrong, maybe its not a gourami. But i might have someone to take in the fish. Sorry i havent uploaded a pic.

It had the long fin in the bottom. But i have put the fish alone for now. I forgot of that one tank i have in my mom's room. So it wont be in danger or a danger to other fish
