Look at your LFS for s used tank. (I got mine with a filter and a heater, for $15 USD)

I'm not sure whether you can see the set up, it was messy but I did like it.
The betta is my old pal, Candy, he passed away from dropsy sadly
I'll always miss my lil Candy..
Now I've been thinkig about getting a female betta and putting her in my 33 gallon community.
